Interests: Iron-Gall Ink Chemistry, Paper/Ink Conservation Methods, Paleography (with a concentration in scientific methods for dating manuscripts and determining providence), forged documents.
Hometown: Memphis, TN
Biography: I have had the opportunity to work with the Vercelli book, Codex A, and palimpsests at the Museo Tesoro del Duomo in Vercelli Italy. I used the multi spectral imaging system to catalogue these documents for the Lazarus project. My work with them since has included research into iron gall ink chemistry and how we can apply this knowledge to analyzing and possibly dating the manuscripts. I eagerly look forward to continuing my work with the Lazarus project throughout the upcoming 2014 year before beginning Pharmacy School next fall.
