Biography: What initially drew me to the Lazarus project was my involvement in the Image, Text, and Technology class with Dr. Gregory Heyworth at the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. After traveling with the Lazarus team to Vercelli, Italy in March 2013 to image the Vercelli Book, the Vercelli mappa mundi, and Codex A, my interest in spectral imaging and specifically medieval mappae mundi flourished. My work with the Lazarus project has been centered around using GIS technology and spectral imaging to make the medieval Vercelli mappa mundi more presentable and accessible to scholars. I look forward to continuing my work with the Lazarus project and learning more about imaging techniques and processing.
